Vehicle Detail
Hello, Up for sale is my '92 Firebrid - Six cylinder, four speed automatic – about 189,000 miles. This car runs excellent and gets over 27 miles per gallon. It would be a great first car for your young driver. She has nice pickup to pass, but not ‘too’ much power. All the styling of an older Firebird. I have owned the car a little over two years and she’s been a great car. Interior pretty nice, dash pad very nice. Things I have replaced: Rear shocks, water pump, starter, alternator, hood lift shocks, muffler and one pipe, serpentine belt, headliner, power window motor, power window switch, radio, u joint, the rear brake cylinders and shoes. Bought the tires shortly after purchasing the car so there is plenty of tread left. I believe this car sat awhile before I bought it (vehicle history report confirms this) and when I started driving her these things started wearing out. Heck I’ve replaced about every normal part that will wear out. She's good to go. The AC holds a charge, the compressor clicks on and off (not sure if its supposed to do this) - but it does not blow cold air. Sorry AC does not work, hey its fall anyway. Also the passengers side power door lock button doesn't work. I never cared enough to replace it, the driver's side works and opens the passenger lock. A quirk with the car is the RPM gauge. On a cold morning the gauge does not register correct - until it warms up. By the time I get to work, it works. On warm days it works from the get go. Has been like that since I bought her. All else on the car works. She even still has the original spare, and jack. Never wrecked that I can tell. Straight underneath and runs straight down the road. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this car to California. The paint does have bad spots – as early 90’s GM vehicles do. My second oldest daughter just began college, along with her older sister who's already been attending - and the Firebird has to go. You won't be dissapointed in the car. Please ask your questions or for more pics. Thanks for looking.
