Up for auction is my 2001 lexus is 300 , this car has had a hard life. I bought it in 2001 with a blown engine. In 2010 I have replaced the engine and transmission with ones with that had 52,000 miles on them, all computers have been replaced. 5 months ago the drivers side lower ball joint gave way and the wheel folded under the car denting the fender. I had the ball joint replaced just to have my mechanic say the passenger side needs replaced also. that was the last straw I will not put any more money into this car. So I am selling it with no reserve and telling you all that is wrong with it in hopes that I can recoup some of my costs in this awesome car. work that needs done for sure!Passenger lower ball jointo2 sensor ( wont pass emissions)air conditioner bearing (noisy when air is off)seats wont move (?)power door locks wont work ( have new locks and key to go with it [not installed])no radioruns rough (o2 sensor per mechanic)no leaks and dosen't burn oilgood tires and brakes (left front tire has cords showing from ball joint failure , but has a new full size spare)blows cold air and have never had to rechargeheat controls don't work , have to change manually in glove box by hand I really loved driving this car, handles like on rails and power like you wouldn't believe. but I have just put too much money in this car.
