This 1979 Bronco is one of the most desirable of the 2nd generation Broncos. Original 1970's 4x4's have gone through the roof in price and here's your chance to own one of the rarest of the rare from Ford Motor Company. This is an original Bronco, one of the few which survived the hard driving, mud bogging, trail riding days. A survivor with no rust and ready to keep performing. This Bronco was ordered new from Sun Valley Ford in Concord, California in 1978. The original owner had possession of the car for the first 30 years of it's life. I am the 3rd owner. The Bronco has 85% of it's original paint and has all of it's original air brushed stripe kit. And it has no rust, a California Bronco. Of the 104,038 Broncos built in 1979, only 798 were ordered with the free wheeler package. Of these 798 only 2 came with the 351M 4 speed transmission option and GT Rallye roll bar and this Bronco is one of those 2. An extremely well cared for vehicle since day one. It has been maintained diligently over it's lifetime. Garaged in sunny California most of it's 40+ year life. Everything functions as it should. The rear window glass works perfectly, it opens and closes as it should. The carburetor has been rebuilt. The lower part of the bench seat was replaced at one point in it's life through normal wear. Also added and professional installed was a auxiliary fuel tank. Time period correct CB radio added by the original owner. Super cool addition, perfect for the era. This Ford Bronco is an incredible example of an original Bronco with the free wheeler package. Since it was driven under normal circumstances some road rash and patina was acquired over the years. It is a rust free survivor. This Bronco is not a mint show car, it is a rare Bronco with it's original paint and options. Most of these Broncos were abused, used for snow plowing, mud bogging and did not withstand the test of time in their original condition. This does not take away from it's value. This highly desirable Bronco is at the early stages of it's collectibility and will only rise in value with time. A full framed Marti Report comes with the Bronco to verify it's low production number and history. Also has it's original California plate and a copy of the title.
