email schmidt_bob@hotmail.com for more pictures... this is truly a pickup you could drive home! 1966 Ford F100 Custom Cab - 4 on the Floor Runs and Drives Perfect ready to drive Feel comfortable getting in this pickup and driving it. I take it on trips 30-40 miles one way and have no worries about making it back! Runs really really well. The most suprising good part is it will get 19-20 MPG and I have got that much with it consistently (if i dont go over 65mph). Now for what is wrong are 99% Cosmetic The hood needs welds if not simply replaced, you can open and shut it fine however. The Cab Floor and Cab Mounts would need to be replaced if you want to restore. Rust also exist here and there in your typical Ford F100 spots but it isnt near as bad as others. The heater is unhooked. The flat bed was simply something I made to make it "road legal" its not something you could put 50 hay bales on. Horn is not hooked up. Grill, Bumpers also are not perfect. Custum Cab Trim is not perfect and 2 small pieces are missing. Steering Wheel nor Seat are in perfect condition either (but better then the majority you see)Exterior Locks on the pickup I do not believe are functional but I have never put any time into them either. If you would like a F100 Bed I would be willing to sell the one I have for a very reasonable price as well as 1 of 3 extra tailgates I have. The Pickup will come with 4 15" steel rims (no hubcaps) and without the truck mirrors showed on this picture. The tires hold air and I have drove on them however I would replace them. So there it is a Pickup you can get in and drive!... It again has some body issues but nothing major (your not going to fall through the floor.. as I have been driving it like this for 2 years and it hasnt got worse nor will it anytime soon. I have patched up the floor with aluminum and it is sealed. IF your looking for a show pickup stuff needs to be done... however I doubt you will find another pickup in all original shape that runs, drives, and sounds as good as this one!
