Vehicle Detail
1975 Chevrolet Monte Carlo This vehicle is an all-original EXTREMELY RARE, BEAUTIFUL LOW MILEAGE, Collector's Car that has been well maintained and would make an easy show car, race car, or easy full restoration project. THIS RARE CAR EVEN HAS THE ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT ON IT THAT IS IN GOOD CONDITION . YOU WILL BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND ANOTHER MONTE CARLO IN THIS CONDITION. THERE WERE ONLY A FEW MONTE CARLOS MADE IN 1975 WITH THE WHITE COLOR AND BLUE VINYL INTERIOR. I purchased this car from the original owner as a show car. The car has never been abused or wrecked. This car will simply be a great investment!! The car was titled all its life in South Carolina, so it has never seen snow or winter weather. Any GM enthusiast knows the value of this rare car and how this vehicle will continue to appreciate in value. I showed this vehicle in a few car shows this summer and it gets a lot of attention. The car runs great and is extremely reliable. Because of the two barrel carb, is GREAT ON GAS and handles great. It only needs a few minor issues addressed that I outline below to be maximized. The CAR HAS THE ORIGINAL PAINT THAT IS IN GOOD CONDITION!! It does have a few very small dings that are really not noticeable from normal distance. THE FIVE DIGIT ODOMETER ON THE CAR shows 106,000 The title to this vehicle is clear! I have driven the car to car shows, the airport, and work without issue for the past few months. The car comes with the original ralley wheels with metal center caps, not the plastic aftermarket brand. This car has been driven sparingly for years and was stored in covered storage. The engine and automatic transmission are original and do not have any modifications. The 350 liter engine comes with 2 barrel carb and is extremely strong. As with most older small block chevy engines, the car does blow a small amout of smoke after sitting overnight. This is caused by weak piston rings, but does not affect the performance of the engine After running for a while, the engine does not smoke and operates normally. The only adjustment to the engine is that the EGR and vacuum system has been bypassed. The wheels on the car are in great condition. The tires have about 25% treadlife remaining. The vehicle rides very smooth and straight down the highway. The interior is in excellent condition for a classic car that is over twenty years old. There are a few small cracks in the dash, mainly around the front speaker housing, which appear to be design flaws. The only seat blemish is a small tear along the DS of the front seat. The door panels are original and in excellent condition without rips or tears. The original GM carpet is in good condition and has very minor blemishes that are commensurate with the age of the vehicle. All of the seat belts, seat belt loops, light globe covers, ashtrays, control knobs are present and are in good condition. The car has the original headliner that is in great condition. The bumpers on the vehicle are in excellent condition, but there is some rashing in the chrome on both the front and rear bumpers. There is also some cracking on the plastic filler below the fuel cap. There is no damage to the front grill or fascia. The floor pans on the vehicle are solid without rust. There is no rust in the wheel wells or door jambs. The rear seat is in excellent condition. The car has manual windows that work fine. The doors open and shut like new. The radio is an aftermarket AM/FM/CD radio and works fine. The air conditioning on the vehicle is in-tact and operates; however it does need to be re-charged. The heater on the car works great. The glass on the vehicle is in excellent condition. The cargo area is in great condition and has the original trunk mat, spare, and jack. The vehicle runs extremely well, but I would recommend the vehicle get a tune-up prior to a lengthy drive. The headlights, fog lights, and tail lights work fine, but there is one crack in the DS fog light and marker light. My intent is to represent this vehicle well in my description in hope that a new owner will give this car the due love that it needs. I would prefer to sell this vehicle to an automotive enthusiast that knows the history, value, even the quirks of these vehicles.
