1980 Porsche 924. Very familiar story, I bought this car to restore myself and never got the time. The good: It runs, but needs some love. New tires, rear half of the exhaust system. There is a spoiler for a 944 and new interior panels that go with the car, as well as new rubber for the side mirrors and a new front emblem. The bad: Pictures show the dash is cracked, the driver’s seat needs to be re-stitched ( all other seats are good). It will need the carpets removed, cleaned and stained or just replaced. And it is in need of a paint job. I had the car for 2 years it passed the original inspection, but it expired in September and I don’t want to renew. Odometer shows 41,405 but doesn’t move when I’m driving. I bought this car after it sat for a few years, I got it running the correct way (pulling plugs and lubricating the cylinders and hand turning the engine to ensure it was not seized). It’s an honest car that needs the right owner. If you are a 924 lover you know what you’re getting yourself into, if you don’t know anything about these cars I suggest you check out some 924 forums and get some knowledge.
