I bought this MG 4 years ago when it had 56,000 miles on it. I've done the brakes, replaced the valves so you can run regular unleaded fuel, reworked the head, replaced the distributor with an electronic ignition, replaced the water pump and replaced the carb with a new Weber with an electronic choke. I have all the receipts for the work done. I also installed a decent JVC AM/FM CD radio. The tires are in very good condition. The interior is still a work in progress. I have a new carpet kit in the box ready to install and I covered the seats with a couple of very nice leather seat covers. The original seat covers are cloth and they need to be recovered and there aren't any sun visors. The rest of the interior is OK, but in need of work if you're looking for something more than a great running little sports car with a solid looking exterior. There are a couple of dings, a small rust repair (see pictures) on the body just behind the driver's side door and there is a small chunk of rubber missing from the front bumper. The top is in great condition and the paint is good. It was never my intention to fully restore this car. I just wanted a great running, dependable little sports car that looked decent so I could use it on the weekends. That is exactly what this car is. Everything works on this car but the clock. It always starts and has never left me on the side of the road. I live in Idaho and the car is garaged year round. I still take it out in the winter when the weather permits and I make it a point to warm it up every week or ten days during the really cold months. I just don't drive it enough anymore and my wife wants the garage space. Although, I did use it as a daily driver for a month this summer while I was having some body work done on one of our other vehicles.
