Vehicle Detail
Honda Scramblers I'm selling two vintage Honda CL-77 Scrambler motorcycles. This is one of the most sought after vintage Honda motorcycle models and routinely commands the highest prices. Restored, they can go for five, six or seven thousand dollars! For offer, a worthy project. Two 60s Scramblers I restore vintage Honda motorcycles in my few free hours away from graduate school to help pay tuition. I was going to refinish one of these and place it on eBay next spring. As a student's budget is generally pretty thin, I have to sell some things to help pay for restoration of the six other vintage bikes I am restoring at the moment. Since I hadn't started on these two yet, I think they are the best choices to put on the market. These bikes are incredibly hard to find anymore, and you can't go wrong restoring them. About the bikes: These two bikes look to be originally candy orange but have lost the luster. They and are late 60s models. Since neither bike runs and I haven't gone through them since I bought them, photographs will serve the buyer much better than my description of the cosmetic and structural condition. I took dozens of photos which can be found by clicking on this link: CL77 photo album. 50+ photos Thus, I trust all bidders will review the photos in lieu of a detailed description of what's there, what's not, what's good and what needs repair. One thing of note is that I took the seat and tank off after I bought these so I could store them in my shed. These, along with the side covers are placed in their spot for the photo but are not bolted down. These should cleanup a lot after a wash, as I've never taken a hose to them. Neither bike kicks over, but I haven't tried to unfreeze them. I have other motor parts for the blue tank bike that I will throw in. You'll have a great project that will take some effort, but the finished product will certainly be worth it. Both bikes will be sold on a bill of sale. You can use these bikes as parts bikes or for restoration. Shipping rebate: As with all of my auctions, I will offer a credit equal to 2 percent of the final auction price to help cover shipping costs. If you decide you only want one bike or the other, that's fine. I am selling them together because I figured it would make the drive (or shipment price) more worth it. I'm centrally located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and local pickup works. These bikes are heavy and don't roll well - so it might not hurt to have help if you do prefer local pickup. Questions? I will respond promptly to any e-mails. If you prefer to talk on the phone, please e-mail your number and name and best time to reach you. About me I've sold 10 vintage Honda motorcycles on eBay this year and have 100 percent positive feedback. I do my best to be as helpful and upfront as possible in all of my transactions and look forward to working with you on this purchase. Thanks!
