2011 Toyota Sienna Van, repairable with damages. I purchased this vehicle 2 weeks ago from Coparts Auction for $14,235. as i thought i could have a friend of mine who recently opened a body shop put a used right front door on it and repair the right rear door and right qtr panel, and the vehicle would be good to go. I have purchased many items on ebay and elsewhere and have never had a problem with buying anything online so i purchased the vehicle without inspecting it, i did'nt even get the Car-Fax Report until after i purchased it. I have two small children and one on the way soon, so i was in way to big a hurry to find a family vehicle. It cost another $1,000 in shipping and auction release fees to get it to my friends body shop where it is now in Hazel Park, Michigan. Vehicle is a nice low mileage vehicle, the interior is about perfect. it runs and drives, but is not drivable for any type of distance due to damages. This is what we observed with the vehicle. The vehicle has the original Toyota alloy wheels and Michelin tires, all in like new condition with only ~ 1 inch scratch in the right front wheel. The overall "platform of the vehicle looks good (i.e. the engine, transmisssion, rear suspension, exhaust, brakes, engine cradle, steering, frame pillars(see photos for right center pillar and front door pillar-only small dings and dents), frame structure, roof, etc. all in good condition as expected for age of vehicle/all in good condition-look like new). Damages to the vehicle include; right front suspension has damage, with visible damage to lower control arm and the right apron have been repaired-but needs to be replaced. Radiator and AC condensor and 2 condensor lines are damaged. Body/paint work on left side of vehicle is not professional grade-paint is dull and body work evident at rear door/qtr panel edge. Lower left front knee and upper air bag on right side, and both upper curtain air bags deployed with both front seat belts needed. Vehicle has other minor misc. damages- plastic windshield washer tank missing, plastic mount tab on left headlamp broke, and rear bumper very small scratch. Vehicle was not "torn down" (i.e. panels and shields removed to looked for more damages or frame measurements taken etc,), The above damages are the main items we noticed we did "not" test/inspect everything, Due to all the extra damages we found-which were not observable because i did not inspect the vehicle first and only went by the photographs, I can not afford to pay to have the body shop to do all of the needed repairs. I think it would be a great vehicle for someone to fix who could do their own body and paint work. I am selling it a price ~$7,000. lower than i payed for it 2 weeks ago to make it fair/affordable for someone to fix up. The vehicle book value is ~$24,000. Over all, this vehicle needs a lot of body and paint work, but no serious structure damages were observed to the vehicle. The title is from Indiana. The vehicle i believe is originally from Texas, and is a late model 2011 and based on the car fax report-it appears it was only on the road for a few months before it was damaged. Payment for the vehicle, is to be cash. We could meet at your bank or mine. The vehicle is "not" available for inspection, as it at my friends business and he is doing me a favor by letting me keep it there and i dont want to trouble him. If you buy it-then we can go inspect it together, pay for it and pick-it up. You can pay by ceritified check if you are not local but I will not release vehicle or title until check is cleared. *Note, this vehicle sold on ebay last week for a much higher price price: $8,600. But the buyer did not make deposit and indicated he just "changed" his mind. So i allowed him to cancel his purchase. Please do not bid on this item if you not familar with car repairs. This is a great vehicle for someone who can do and who enjoys doing thier own repairs, who enjoys fixing cars, and who enjoys the whole process of finding deals on used parts, etc. It is not a great deal for someone who would have to pay someone else to the repairs. I have lowered price this listing as i am paying storage on the vehicle, and I still have to find another vehicle soon due to new baby on the way. Vehicle maybe still be under factory warrenty-Vehicle is sold strickly "AS IS", and all observations above are for general informational purposes and not as statements of fact.
