Vehicle Detail

1965 Plymouth Fury I. 54k Mile Original Georgia car. Title does state odometer discrepancy, but look at the photos. I do believe the car is only 54k. Slant six runs great. new fuel lines, fuel filter, rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new points. All new Belts and hoses. Brand new exhaust manifold (it is a slant six) No overheating issues on hour long drives or idling in the driveway. I have not got the choke just right. Tranny shifts as good as any three on the tree I have driven. Cruises smooth and strait at 60mph. No strange noises. Newer white wall radial tires. I did not install since I have owned but I would say only a couple thousand miles on them. Original patina on most of the car. Body is not perfect but I felt it would be a shame to do any body or paint. It can only look this way once. It does appear to have had cosmetic touch ups done early in its life. Only thing that I am missing is the drivers outside mirror. i haven't found a decent used one and new ones are expensive. Floor boards are very very nice. Very little rust (trunk extensions are the worst but are supported aftermarket if you feel ambitious). Interior is original and has not been messed with at all. Radio delete car, and has not been cut up. Not much left of the drivers seat, but I like the saddle blanket, so i haven't messed with it. Original owners manual and build sheet. Very cool cruiser, low and slow. I would leave it as is, or throw some modern running gear underneath and drive it everyday. I love the car, but i do not have the time to use it as much as i thought i would. Gets more attention than the 69 Camaro it is parked next to at dairy queen. Cool cheap toy that you don't have to worry about people leaning on at the car show. If you have any questions or want additional photos contact me. (trade? Got a nice gas golf cart?) I encourage anyone seriously interested to inspect the vehicle in person, she is not hiding anything. thanks! On Sep-27-12 at 08:03:07 PDT, seller added the following information: almost 40 watchers and 1,000 views.
