This car is rare and unusual because it is built on Chevy's Chevette model with an inline 4 cyl. 1.6 engine and 4 speed as opposed to the common VW drivetrain equipped MG replicas. The donor car was a 1985 Chevrolet Chevette that had been wrecked and the car was purchased from the insurance company and the entire mechanical was used to assemble this car. The Chevette had under 1500 miles when dismantled for this project. It now has 4000 miles on the build and is well sorted. Great looking car with a realistic appearance to the real MG. Of course , no one here is claiming it is an MG, as it is just a replica. Fun car...not a lot of money....just a toy to enjoy. Top and side curtains are included and have never been used.
