Well guys, here is a day I have dreaded. I have lost my storage building and several of my cars will no longer have a place to live, so they need to go to new homes. My cars are alittle different. This auction is for a very rare (less than 200) 1955 Daimler Century convertible with a very early power top and hard rear window. I had hoped to get to full restoration on this car next year, but.....things change. This is a great little car and has a super running 2500 cc 6 cylinder engine. It runs on external gasoline tank as the original is in need of restoring. Cars pulls itself around parking lot and has some brakes, but car will need to be fully restored. The interior has been redone at some point and is really pretty good and usable. Ther is some rust in floors as carpet probably held water and rusted them. The good thing is that this car is all steel construction and has no structural wood, so welding in patch panels is quite easy. Car is complete and I have good, clear Florida title. I was in England last summer at international Daimler meet at Sandringham and of the 300 cars there, there was only one of this model present. That one was valued at $38,000.....this one is here now and can be had for a small fraction of that price. please only bid if you are serious and have the money to complete purchase.
