Noted below are some of the "rebuild" features of this immaculate Bus - An entire picture file of the "rebuild" is available for those requesting it: · Bus is in clean, solid, and excellent running condition. It was taken completely apart and freshened in every area. · Entire Bus, inside and out, was painted - floors, wheel wells, and engine compartment along with 2-tone exterior. NEW Original VW Paint Colors - L31A Senegal Red and L90D Pastel White. · INTERIOR has new headliner and seat upholstery in the original style, along with new door panels, kick panel under the dash, and many other trim parts throughout the interior. · MECHANICALLY gone through thoroughly, including: NEW shocks, brakes, wheel cylinders, clutch, heater, throttle cables, brake hoses, gas lines, vent lines, fuel filler pipe elbow and hose, seals, exhaust gaskets, filters, battery, etc. Nothing was spared that would make this Bus more dependable and reliable for the future. · STEERING SYSTEM replacements include: new steering dampener and rubber steering joint between shaft and steering box. · NEW WINDSHIELD and all new rubber seals on all windows plus new wipers. · New outside, stainless steel mirrors plus chrome trim on doors in-and-out. · NEW TIRES - Good Year 185Rx14-C 6-ply including the spare. · ENGINE rebuilt with new bearings, pistons, cylinder, and complete valve job. · Other new mechanical parts include: new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, oil cooler, rubber engine mounts, head temp. sensor, plugs, plug wires, seals, and gaskets. · Engine has HYDRAULIC LIFTERS and ELECTRONIC IGNITION, so no constant adjustments needed as on older engines with NO LEAKS and NO SMOKING. · Bus starts without touching the gas pedal and rides, steers, and drives flawlessly with plenty of power to cruise on the freeway at 75 MPH all day. · EVERYTHING WORKS, including: heat, lights, fuel gauge, horn, wipers, rear window defroster, dome lights, etc. as well as the original AM radio. · Gas tank was removed and cleaned inside. · Manual Transmission shifting rod was removed, cleaned, and re-greased with new rubber dust boots added on each end. Transmission is quiet and shifts as it should. · Brakes are excellent after complete rebuild. · Sliding door has new nylon block that slides effortlessly on the rail. · Body has ALL ORIGINAL PANELS - none were welded or filled! · Bus comes with ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL - near mint condition. Also included are the Original JACK and new "original style Tool Kit."
