I974 VW Type 2 Transporter Bus. Vehicle is in very good condition for 38 years old. I have been modestly restoring for 3 years. Engine runs great and vehicle body has minor wear with a few light rust abrasions but has been recently repainted. Repeat...this vehicle is pushing 40 years old and still needs finishing touches. The heat and defrost does not work, I have used as a summer vehicle only. I have new mirrors and headlights ready to be installed. There is a removable aluminum roof rack I removed for paint job. Less than 1500 mi in 3 years Improvement List : New tires, new schocks, new battery, new clutch, rebuilt carb, headliner, paint, foot pedal covers, six speaker radio/cd, old fashioned OORAGHA horn, new side relector lenses, tail lights, handles etc. Original owners manual, with complete Haynes repair manual included. This vehicle is a head turner all over town. It is a utilitarian vehicle good for everyday use, and could be restored to vintage by the right person. I have taken excellent care of this vehicle.
