1977 AMC Mail Postal Jeep VERY RARE to be this complete This is the original Mail Postal Jeep Right Hand Drive Automatic Transmission Everything works CLEAR TITLE This Mail Jeep starts right up evertime and drives awesome The wipers work The radio works The horn works The good: Engine is a Straight 6cyl and runs awesome New battery Brakes are good All the door locks work including the back door lock All the glass is in great condition - no cracks The roof and side vents are in working condition The bad: Needs tires There is bondo on this jeep There is rust on this jeep The floor is in good condition and has a few rust spots It needs to be repainted and some spots need repair You can drive it the way it is - but it does need to be repainted There is clear sealer on some of the windows I don't want you to think you're getting this perfect jeep - It does run awesome and the transmission is smooth - but it does need some body work and the inside needs to be repainted The 1 seat needs to be recovered It does have the original decals and the mail tray in it. The seat has the metal pocket in the back. This would make the perfect mail jeep or hunting jeep It's very quite and is fun to drive. There is no tag or insurance on this jeep - so I would recommend you trailer it home - If you want - your choice- you can drive it home - I know it will make to your location - I just wouldn't chance it with no tag or insurance I have a CLEAR TITLE to this Mail Jeep. I would put new tires on it before I drove it daily - It runs great - It does need a paint job inside and out - It needs to be restored - but you can drive it just the way it is.
