Selling my GREAT condition Honda Valkyrie Interstate with all the chrome. Awesome power and smoothness, with more personality than a Gold Wing. This dragon is very solid and needs nothing but gas to run cross country. New tires, and all maintenance recently done. The Interstate has a larger tank than the Tour model by about two gallons, which makes a big difference when riding long distance. If you are considering the Tour model Valk, the range is only about 120 miles before reserve when ridden hard. Range on this bike is over 200 miles, averaging about 38 mpg, unless you really open it up. The Interstate model, (like most true long distance bikes) also has a real frame mounted fairing and additional parts to reduce high speed wind buffeting. You don't get that advantage on the Tour model, which just has a plexiglass windshield. The result on the Interstate model is a more comfortable ride, and with the same GREAT flat six engine, it can still fly. Valkyries have outstanding handling for a big bike, especially with new Avon Venom tires, like this one. **JUST ADDED NEW PICTURES AND VIDEO ** ( September 24, 2012 ) ** **( Don't be fooled by other sellers using old pictures of their bike. This means any Valk without a good amount of miles on them by now has been mostly sitting, which ISN'T good. Sitting idle for years can lead to more problems than a bike that is ridden, but has regular maintenance, especially with the Honda flat six engine. That engine has consistently been able to go more than 200,000 miles with no major engine work needed. This bike has been carefully cared for, and is absolutely ready to ride. The carbs have recently been synched, and had a synthetic oil change. The bike has all the Interstate extras, and many added chrome accessories, like the chrome and gold handlebar resevoir tops. Manual cruise, and studded tank bib. Trunk and hard bag solid bar chrome protectors. Highway bars and pegs. Trigger wheel included. 4 speaker stereo sounds great with replacement speakers installed. Flag and flex pole installed, ready for any rally rides. Starts, runs, and shines like new. YOU WILL LOVE THIS BIKE !!!!
