Vehicle Detail

1964 Triumph Tiger Cub 200, T20SR Scrambler, Fresh Project, NO RESERVE This bike is a fresh build, with a totally rebuilt engine done for me by an ex-Triumph dealer employee, he assembled these Cubs out of the crate back in the day, (see photos of engine during build), build has about 500 miles on it, that is why I put 500 in the eBay mileage box. Built to look like a rider from back in the 60's, not a stock one like anyone could have bought. Just the right mix of new and old with patina in the right places, for that period look. No additional engine modifications, so it has the desired performance, reliability and rideability it was designed for. The leather solo seat and springs are custom fitted to the bike, along with many other subtle items, including the headlight, taillight, battery bracket and hand made wiring harness. Stainless fasteners have been used when possible, the original patina was left where desired. Please understand that this bike was not built to be a show bike, although it is very presentable, what scratches and dings it had were left for the desired effect, it was created to be a fun vintage rider and it is a lot of fun to ride. I have been overwhelmed at the attention this little bike draws, when you pull up anywhere on it, people just can’t get over how cool this ride looks, the appeal is definitely there! It brings lots of attention and turns lots of heads at any bike show, ride, event or at the local coffee shop. This was probably the most admired and photographed Cub at the just held Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio. Everyone appreciated that it is built as a tribute to the old school bikes back in the day, check out this old photo of Chris Leighfield and his Cub in the 1964 Bemrose Trial: http://www.trialmag.net/trialmag/article/4716/Chris+Leighfield+%26%238211%3B+RIP This bikes engine and frame numbers match, T20SR 95018. Only 133 model T20SR were made in 1964 per the 1.17 Model Profile Appendix. Clear title in hand, in my name. This is a great in town and back roads cruiser, it’ll zot right up past 60 mph or so, and it cruises okay for short hops at 55. I recently took the Cub on a 100 mile back roads ride with a buddy who was on his 1972 CB350 Honda, we had a blast! The bike handles great and is a joy to ride, it brings an extended smile to anyone that rides it. The bike has new passenger pegs and I am including a new passenger pillion pad with this bike, I have not mounted the pad because I have not needed to use it. Features: Hard to find full chain guard and tire pump. Duplex clutch chain. Heavy weight forks.12 volt electrical system with gel battery. Optional 420 chain and sprockets.
