Vehicle Detail

1967 Camaro RS Convertible project. Engine number is V0619ME. Trans number is T7H02N. There is no serial number on the engine pad by the rh cylinder head. I've read this is a common issue with the 327 cars. This car was parked in 1975. Everything looks completely original under the hood. As far as I can tell everything is there besides a couple of plug wires. Motor is not frozen up. Outside body has dents and dings but not much rust showing. It looks like someone knocked out the lights and some of the glass at one point. The convertible top frame is complete and goes up and down fine. It is a manual top. Parts have a lot of surface rust but I think they are usable. The interior will need the most attention. Will need complete floor pan and probably some braces. I do not have the original seats. I do have a couple of seats from a 1968 Firebird that will go with the car if you want them(the left seat is rough). I have the rear upper seat frame, but it needs work. I changed out the gauge cluster because the original one was rusty. I have kept the original and the mileage that I have show is from the original cluster. Console is complete. I believe the right frame rail will need some repair too. As far as I know it has the original rearend. There is a jack in the trunk but I do not know if it is the original. Trunk pan will need to be replaced too. As far as I can tell it's not horrible but it does have some holes in it. I could not get the trunk up without the keys. Car rolls freely. I have what is supposed to be the original title from the original owner. Previous owner was GM so I feel like it's legit. I was told that the car was parked in 1975 because it had run hot. It was stored in a barn for many years and then put outside. That's all the information I received. If you have any questions, I'll be glad to answer them. I am no Camaro expert. I'm sure there are things that I am missing. I will answer questions honestly. Please call or email for more information. You can reach me during the day @ 903.628.7083. My cell is 903.701.5858 (however I do not carry it with me). Leave a message and I will return your call. Car looks to be in very good condition on the rear frame rails and around the shock towers. Right rocker panel may need replaced, some scaly rust on it. Left side seems fine. Trunk drop offs are in great condition. Will need some patch panels on the quarters, I really don't think it will need complete quarters. Rear taillight panel is excellent with very little damage and no rust. Cowl seam has some rust holes. Thanks for all of the questions.
