This is the sought after bike for restoration and for parts many remember from the 80's. I have seen listings for gas tanks in similar condition separately asking upwards of $200 and fully restored FT's asking large sums. My brother in law built up a red one and was going to restore this one but did not have garage space for it. You don't see many black FT500's out there. Makes this kinda rare. The instrument panel is not original to this bike, the odometer shows incorrect higher miles. The engine starts and runs but the carb might need cleaning. I took pictures and (you tube videos listed below) of bike all around. It needs : brake parts front and back as pictured, turn signals, mirrors, new air cleaner and speedometer cable. It does have a Brand New Maintenance Free Battery just installed. I have the clear title signed and ready for transfer. Cash preferred.
