Excellent running and driving car. Turn key on give it a couple pumps of the throttle and it will fire up immediately even after sitting for several weeks. Interior has seen signs of wear from california sun, but was covered at least twenty years ago preserving the chrome, lights etc. All interior parts are there, so with new fabric and padding, the upholstery should be 100%, no chasing around hard to find parts. The dash looks amazing, all lights and gauges working, amazing to drive at night to see the dash all lit up as it did 55 years ago. Original radio in place (sounds of static, but nothing else when you turn on, I have not looked into further) all interior lights functioning as well in headliner and seat bottoms. Only non functional items in interior are the power seat, and driver door power window. Has autotronic eye sensor on dash as well as control box under the hood. Turn signals, brake lights, headlights, parking lights and horn all functional. Engine runs great even with the dual carbs, starts and idles amazing, you would never know it has dual carbs, until you are driving and floor it. Transmision shifts up and down through all the gears normally without any slipping. All fluids have been recently changed, as well as 4 new tires installed and brakes serviced. It does not over heat or do anything weird. Engine does have the factory cadillac dual quad manifold, however original carbs were replaced with 2 holley 4bbls. I just removed filter elements from filter housing trying to find replacements if you are noticing there are not there. Floor boards are extremely solid, i took pictures of front floor as well as under the back seats that are often rotted out due to water pooling up in there. The most rust I found was in spare tire well, and that is still solid and not rusted through at all. Pictures do not do this car justice. It is an amazing car that has been very well preserved. Body is in great shape with no real issues or signs of any major repairs done. Front bumper is slightly damaged, however I do have another straight and complete front bumper to go with it. rear bumper has one dent that should be easily repairable when having it rechromed. Paint is decent and presentable, not a show car by any stretch, but a super cool cruiser that gets a ton of attention as is with unlimitted potential. I do have the stainless for both rear quarter panels as well as for both rocker panels, they are not perfect, but can be straightened and rechromed as well. I would say the main things wrong with the car are the following 1) front windsheild needs replacement 2) both front door glass need to be replaced ( I have good used driver door glass) 3) Driver door power window doesn't work (I have not looked into why, ) You can jump in the car and pretty much drive anywhere, I just pulled out of garage and drove to friends house 30 miles away this morning. I have attached a picture of the trim tag showing it is a factory color of Moutain Laurel Pink Paint Code 46 which in my research I have found to very rare and not a standard color offering , paint code 12 for top (alpine white) interior 49 Amethyst.
