Vehicle Detail
Selling my 2000 C5 Corvette 6 spd. I purchased the car back in March out in Phoenix, AZ and drove it over 1200 miles home. It got about 29 mpg on the trip as well. I was told that there were only about 1100 of these cars built with this color combination and even fewer that have the Z51 option. The car has every option you could order it with from HUD (heads up display), Memory Pkg, Power Telescoping steering wheel, Pwr driver and passenger seats, Dual Air that"s working very good, In dash Bose am/fm/cd with the 12 disc changer in the trunk, both in good working order. The car runs and drives wonderful and does everything it should. This Vett has the Z51 Handling Pkg with Magnetic Ride Control that includes the larger sway bars. The PO just had the seats redone with new leather seat covers. I replaced the factory rims with C6 ZR1 chrome wheels. The OEM C5 rims were 17/18 and the C6 rims are 18" front and 19" rears. I purchased a Vett Net to cut down on the air whipping around in the car for the wife when the top is down. I kinda like the way it looks with it on also. The seat bolsters are a weak point that can show wear from getting in the car so to protect the new seats. I purchased the Bolster Covers and a nice set of floor mats with the Corvette logo. I installed a Cold Air set up and a nice set of B&B Bullet Exhaust that really helped perk up the LS1. The car sounds awesome while running thru the gears with no drone at highway speeds and the large 3" tail pipes look great sticking out the back. I installed a Tuner to take advantage of the cold air box and exhaust and allows you to adjust the speedo for the larger tires and wheels. I installed the Chrome Louvered rear tag bracket and Chrome Tail Light Louvers that really bring attention to the back of the car. I added the Chrome Corvette letter inserts that tie it all together very well. The windshield does have a dime sized star right behind the mirror. The roof is in good condition with no holes. The tires are Goodyear run flats that aren't new, maybe 35 to 40%. The car is not without it's faults with a scratch here and there and some road rash on the nose which is to be expected with a car of it's age and miles. If you are looking for a great looking driver that you can drive and enjoy, this is it. NADA retail is over 18k. I love the car and really Do Not want to sell because it is such a blast to drive but I have found that when I drive it very much it causes trouble with my left knee from getting up out of the car. I hate to see it set in the garage and gather dust. I have the title in hand, free and clear. Serious buyers feel free to text or call with any questions at (580) 352-4895. I will be glad to help with any shipping at the winners expense. If you win and decide to fly in and drive home. Give me a call and we can work something out. Thanks for looking and good luck. I'm not interested in any trades and please have your finances in place before bidding. The car is listed for sale else where and I reserve the right to end the auction early if the car should sale before the end of the auction. So if you are really interested in the car, give me a call. Thanks for looking and good luck.
