I believe a photo speaks volumes-especially when it comes to a vehicle you can't see in person (even though anyone is welcome to view!). There are over 150+ photos I will have so if you don't have high speed internet, give it some time folks. * CAR RUNS GREAT! * INTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE - NEEDS CLEANING. I offer my 1981 300 TD Station Wagon Diesel. I recently acquired it from a business that purchased property and this vehicle had been left there for over 5 years! Not running, but in great shape for a vehicle this age - I purchased with the intention to use as a daily driver and save money on gas. Finally after many hours and various choice words - the old girl is running! And I do mean RUNNING! I will spare the details, but all works now on the car with the exception of the vacuum locks and odometer. I have since increased my travel time which includes flying twice a week from Dallas to SF and am unable to handle any further restoration. I haven't been able to install anything new other than an aftermarket radio (unfortunately original gone) and new speakers. I got it running, got new gas in and drove about 100 miles. I am an honest seller and treat you as I want to be treated when purchasing anything. Along with the stories the photos will tell, there is minimal surface rust. No rot whatsoever. A power steering leak. That's about it that I know of. I do know the wagon has been sitting since 07 and possibly earlier. From what I can find, it had one owner. And I must say they loved this one. In my opinion, it is in great shape for a wagon this age. You are free to ask any questions and / or come on out and test drive. I would drive it anywhere ONCE I replaced the tires that I believe can't be trusted for long rides even though they have over 90% tread (car sat outside in Texas heat). Odometer does not work (write up online should you ever want to get it going again)...stopped at 252K. Paypal deposit due within 24 hours. Payment in cash due within 7 days close of auction. ****AN ADDED PLUS TO SOME**** Because I live in both SF and Dallas, I will bring the car to any city between these two on a normal route BUT you must pay the gas.
