You are bidding on a 1999 GMC Sierra SLT, 2500 Crew Cab, Short Bed, 4x4 in great shape. It has the 5.7L (350c.i.) Vortec engine and automatic 4-speed, overdrive transmission. The short-bed (6½ feet) crew cab is very difficult to find in this body style, especially with the 5.7L engine. This is the best of the new and old in one truck. You get the late-model Vortec engine, and updated computer, with the roomier and more comfortable interior (especially for the rear passengers) of the old body style. You can carry six adults comfortably in this truck. (I love this truck and am only selling it to buy the 3500, long-bed version of the same vintage.) Features: · 5.7L (350c.i.) I’m the second owner and have service records from the time I’ve owned it. The engine runs strong and smooth. It has aftermarket mufflers, so it’s a little louder than stock. (Sounds nice!) It doesn’t leak any fluids. It has a brand new radiator and water pump. The transmission is strong and shifts perfectly. The 4-wheel-drive works perfectly. The tires have approximately 80% tread. A leaky valve in the air conditioning system was replaced and the AC was recharged. It now blows ice cold! The bushings in the driver’s door hinges were recently replaced. The only issue at all is the fuel gauge, which always reads full. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the gauge or sending unit. Please note: Mileage will increase by about 60-miles per day as the truck is my daily driver. Exterior Cosmetic Condition: This is a rust-free California truck! The paint looks good and shines nicely. There are some small dings and scratches, consistent with a 13-year-old truck. There is some damage to the paint on the roof from tree sap, but you really don’t see it unless you climb up and look. The chrome looks great, and the aluminum wheels are very nice, with minimal curb rash. All weather stripping is in great shape. Interior Cosmetic Condition: The interior looks very nice. There are no rips or tears in the upholstery, carpet, door panels, or headliner. The only exception is a small cut in the side of the driver’s seat bottom. It is very clean and appears to have been caused by a knife or other sharp object. (See photo.) I had the bottom driver’s seating surface replaced with high grade vinyl. (The leather had worn out.) It looks and feels nice and supple. It doesn’t stand out as being obviously different from the leather surfaces. (See photos) The original owner, and I are non-smokers, and no pets have been allowed in the cab.
