Are you ready to go camping? What a Sweet Volkswagen Camper van, ready to hit the road and provide years of enjoyment. This is a great example of a rust free beautifully restored bus. This bus was owned by a college professor and includes his notes going back to when he purchased it in 1976 with 36,573 miles on it. I also have the original owners manuel with stamped dealer service records. The bus currently only has 121,394 actual miles on it. There was a factory remanufactured engine installed at 99,700 miles which still has the factory tag on it. I purchased the bus with original white paint and then spruced it up with the wonderful blue and white two tone. The interior is all original blue/green plaid with professionally reupholstered front seats. Mechanically, this bus is in excellent condition with the recently rebuilt engine which has just been tuned up. The trans axle shifts smooth and the brakes are in great shape with new front pads. All the electrical works as it should and it does have a great Kenwood sound system with remote and aux jack. Driving this bus just feels tight and right. There's something to be said for a low milage, well maintained vintage vehicle that has been lovingly cared for from the day it was purchased.
