This 1997 Ford Ranger 4x4 has only 56,621 original miles. This truck is equipped with the 3.0L engine. All tires are 9/32" or better. It has been used exclusively by the Transportation Division of a public school district and has been maintained in good running condition, except that it presently has a defective GEM/Body Control Module. Extensive efforts were expended to locate a replacement module. Ford no longer provides this item. We have not been able to locate a salvage module, and have had no luck in arranging a rebuild of the defective item. The defect does not appear to affect anything except headlights, windshield wipers and 4 x 4 indicator lights. The truck does very well during the daylight when there is no rain. This truck carries no warranties expressed or implied, and is being sold as is, where is. This truck has a remanufactured transmission, new ball joints and brakes just a few months back.
