Up for auction is a 1987 CSX. It is number 622 out of 750 ever made. I am really hoping this car will go to a good home as there are not many low miles CSX’s around even less that are not modified drastically. The interior is also in very good condition for it’s age as most of these cars seats didn’t hold up at all. This car has been sitting for a while after a hit to the left fender. No frame damage, just need a new fender, grill and bumper that should be easy to source. Car could be driven until fender and bumper are repaired but is mechanically complete and was running when parked. Car is currently stored in a climate controlled garage. The car has been sitting for a few years so it will need your basic tune-up items before being driven. The first Shelby CSX appeared in 1987. Power came from Shelby's intercooled Turbo II 2.2 L I4, with 175 hp (130 kW) and 175 ft·lbf (237 Nm). Performance was good with a 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) time of 6.8 secondsShock absorbers and springs were replaced, and Daytona Shelby Z rear discs were added. Once again, Shelby used his own wheels. Outside badging was more restrained than other Shelby offerings. Black was the only color available.750 1987 CSXes were produced.
