Hello, up for auction is a used 2002 Volkswagon Golf GLS with 200,800 miles. It's a 4-door hatchback in silver with gray interior and 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine. I am selling this car for my sister-in-law who used this car as a daily driver until she purchased a new one last week. The car runs and drives well, but does have a few minor issues so please read the description. The Good: Engine runs strong and car drives well. Car feels solid and transmission, suspension, and brakes are all good. Car has retractable moonroof, air conditioning, heat, upgraded stereo system, power windows, and power locks, all working. Car has clear title and has always been registered and insured. NJ inspection is valid through December 2013. Clean interior with no major tears or stains. Only one tear in the driver's floor mat. The Bad: Engine light is on because the computer does not recognize the aftermarket catalytic converter. Does not affect driving. Small oil leak at drain plug (dealer put in wrong plug and stripped some threads). Fuel gauge works intermittently. Front right bumper lip is bent from bumping into a curb (see picture). Front left tire has a slow leak, needs a little extra air every few months. The Weird: One headlight is a little fogged over. VW logos on wheel centercaps are missing. Car is located in and must be picked up from Bloomfield, NJ within 2 weeks of auction end. Delivery MAY be possible for a fee of $1 per mile within a 60 mile radius, BUT please contact me before bidding for details. $250 deposit is required within 48 hours of closing.
