1969 Mustang Standard Convertible, Automatic, 80374 miles Numbers Matching 302 V8, 2 bbl Has been in the family since 1989, Owned since 2004. Had a repaint in the80’s Marti report has it as one of 3 for 1969. Strong running, idle a little high, 8” rear end. I tried show as many pictures of the different areas of the car that seem to be the areas of most concerned. Quarter panels appear to be solid. Some of the areas where the paint is bubbling up I included. Other pictures can be taken and sent. No body work has been done in the last 23 years. Trunk area is solid. Not perfect but a very good start. The convertible top has two spots where the stitching has come apart, picture included. New parts in the past 200 miles, or since I have owned it: 4 wheel drum brake - hardware, brake lines, master cylinder, attaching hardware, pads, hoses, drums. Rear and Front shocks. All new front suspension – 1” lower front coils, new lower and upper arms, all attaching hardware, new slave cylinder, strut arms, New TMI front and rear seat covers, new front seat cushions, front seats frames were sandblasted and powder coated. New TMI door skins and new pony emblems on door. New door scuffplates. New aftermarket window handles front and ¼ windows. New pony grill emblem. New speckled trunk mat and jack bag. New gas cap. Pertronix 1 electronic ignition, coil and rotor. New NOS distributor diaphragm. New rebuilt starter. New battery tray, new battery, new battery cables, New NOS ground strap. New ignition relay. New NOS voltage regulator. New from header back exhaust with Flowmaster 44 muffler New temp sending unit, oil pressure sending unit, new spark plugs and wires, new distributer wire, New NOS radiator cap, new radiator hoses, new marti fan belt and radiator belt. New fuel filter and line to carb, New crankcase ventilator Rebuilt power steering pump. Refurbished Jack and handle – sandblasted and powder coated. Rebuilt carb Many other smaller items have been updated and/or changed out.
