Very nice used 2001 Daewoo Lanos Sport, 3 door hatchback, 5 speed, 1.6L 113K This was my daughter's car. We have owned it since November 2005. we are the second owners. This little car runs great, got my daughter through 3 years of high school and two of college (she goes to school in Southwest Missouri). She got married in May and we bought them a newer car as they will be traveling to vist us and her inlaws. Note: I have lowered my reserve price $300 and buy it now price $300. This is my second time listing the car on Ebay. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Work that has been done: * Timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley and waterpump replaced at 88K (2009)(Good for 60k) * Right CV Axle shaft replaced with new one not a rebuilt July 2012 * Manual transmission drained and refilled with Lucas and Synthetic 75w gear oil, July 2012 * Both lower balljoints replaced 2010 * Both front disc rotors replaced with brake pads 2010, approx 70% pads left * Both outer tie-rod ends replaced 2009 * Oil changed July 2012, Castrol 10W30 less than 600 miles on oil * Manual clutch master and slave cylinders replaced May 2012 ** Rear brake lines replaced Sept 5, 2012 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - 4 good tires, Fronts are Kelly Springfield Ultras (all seasons) 75% tread, rears are Kumho 795 all season, 60% tread - Replaced all 3 wiper blades, sale includes a spare rear wiper motor (needs to be replaced) - Aftermarket stereo, MP3/WMA CD with aux input and USB, 6x9" three way speakers in rear deck - Car comes with 4 extra Daewoo Lanos Alloy rims. Currently has 4 steel rims and hubcaps on it. - Car has scratches and dings and several dents, I have touched up the paint where it needed it. - Paint is still bright red and shines good. I have detailed the car and it's looking really good. - I bought a new set of floor mat carperts. - This car has very little rust, practically none! I have posted the original dealer window sticker on Skydrive. "Daewoo motor cars was started in 1937 by GM motors in Inchon, Korea. They have been selling cars for decades in Europe, Asia and South America. They tried to enter the American and Canadian markets in 1998, the company over extended itself and went bankrupt. Cheverolet bought controling interest in 2001 and began making the AVEO models. These are almost identical to the Daewoo Lanos in Engine, transmission and mechanicals. On Sep-14-12 at 09:12:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: 9-14-2012 I have posted more pictures on the SkyDrive link. I received questions about the dents. Even with the new pictures they are hard to see. There is a sizeable dent above the drivers side rear wheel. The other dent is above the passenger side front fender. Last there is a puncture hole in the right rear bumper (plastic) It is small. My daughter backed into her uncles truck and he had a bolt sticking out on the hitch assembly.
