Vehicle Detail
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS MODEL A IS LISTED. SEEMS RAMY1511 LIKES TO BID ON ITEMS THEN NOT PAY WHICH IS THE CASE WITH THIS CAR. This is for a 1930 Model A Ford Deluxe Coupe. Motor rebuilt with SS valves for use with unleaded gas. Full interior but dirty seat bottom and some moth damage. This car was found sitting in a shed with a dirt floor where it sat for about 6 years without any care given to it. It was fully restored at one time but years ago. There is rust virtually all around the bottom edges and would need a body off restoration with patch pannels installed and some sheetmetal. Sub frame appears solid as does the frame itself. Has all 6 original wheels. Fenders are without cracks, and only one had a patch about 2" long on the underside. Fenders are solid but would require some patch work in a couple areas and work on the beading, otherwise usable. There are pin holes here and there on the body and a couple areas that would require a bit more work. The gas tank would have to be replaced as it started to drip when I put gas into it to get the car running. About the only thing on the car that is not original is the horn, it came off a Model T. This car is being sold as is. The engine is running and sounds great. Installed new points, condenser, rebuilt water pump, fan belt. Has a super battery. Beside the dual tire mounts, cowl lights, lugg. rack, it has a quail cap, stone guard, and shocks with linkage all around. I drove this around the block a couple times and there is no transmission or rear end noise. This car could be driven as is with some TLC, but restoration is really needed. Starting off with a low bidding price without reserve.
