1987 benz sel 420, car is in very nice condition for year,No body rot on car anywhere,It has some minor rust blisters barley showing, there are some chips on the front of hood,chrome on top of front bumper has some rust and chrome on rear cover has some stains..Lt and Rt side quarters are missing the small moldings that go on them..Car is very clean and presentable... car just passed maine inspection, interior is in great condition, one small tear on passenger seat, all guages on dash work ,there are no lights on,all power seats work, sunroof works and does not leak, car does not come with a radio,the power antenna in brand new , will come with the oem speakers,front control arm bushing replaced just recentley, The left rear window is of track and not working properly,all other windows work great.car start and runs great and shifts fine,at idle car seem to have either a small vacuum leak or could be a simple tune up as car has not been driven regularly in a few months.tire are about 50% the passed inspection, but not the best... Car is going to need a timing chain tension on the left side (see photo of left valve cover), "NOT THE CHAIN", chain did not jump timing and has no slack in it.. The guide came loose and popped throught the valve cover so I got it out ane re-installed part and epoxyed the cover and it been fine and leaks no oil...car starts right up ,I drove car the other day up to about 70mph and it was fine ..But part should be changed to make sure of reliablity .fix this simple problem and you should have many years of reliable driving ahead... part is 75.00 online and fairly simple to replace,you can google it ..Car does not come with a title, MAINE DOES NOT TITLE CAR OVER 15 YEARS OLD,it will come with the old registration and a bill of sale t the new owner.I have tried to describe vehicle to the best i can any question please feell free to ask and thanks..
