No extra fees in my auction and small opening bid with NO RESERVE. This car is a blast to drive! It is a rare 1979 Mercedes 350SE European w116 body Mercedes with a rare interior combination. I have to say that it drives like new! The motor is strong as can be with 200 horse power. It has a great sound from the exhaust system and motor as you power up on the highway. The car shifts just like it is supposed to in all gears. The exhaust is new with the stickers still attached. The wheels are original and never restored with matching Toyo Proxy's all the way around. The brakes feel like brand new! This interior is like nothing I have ever seen before and it is stunning!!!! Non smoker car and I have to say you get a very rich feeling driving this car. It drives down the road smooth as silk! It loves to get up and go down the highway at any speed. The air conditioning is working and still is the R12 system and the heater works great! The climate control functions as it should. The front windows are power and the rear ones are cranks! The power locks, radio, horn, wipers, fuel gauge, hazards, are all working. There is a bend in the rear bumper center section. A few rust bubbles are present common with an older Mercedes. The color of dark brown was changed VERY WELL to gold. In some pictures you will see that I have removed the floor carpets, rear seat, trunk liners, spare and so on to show how solid this car is. Very important to see on an antique Mercedes. The chrome is nice and bright and the car makes a great statement. The Bosch battery is a year old and the expensive one. The tach, temp, dash lights and turn signals are not working at this time. The sunroof is not working at this time either. The car is a great driver ready to travel across the Country right now. Okay, look at the pictures and know you are getting a gem!
