Vehicle Detail

For Sale is a 1997 Ford Mustang GT. It has 135,105 miles on it as of 9-5-2012. I purchased this car on 6/30/2012 and restored it because that is a hobby of mine. Photos: http://s288.photobucket.com/albums/ll198/nickyubacity/1997%20Ford%20Mustang%20GT/ Here is a list of some of the changes I made to the car over the past two months: New Head Gasket Set and new head bolts. Aftermarket intake manifold (stock one was poor design) with new gaskets. New thermostat and o-ring. New transmission filter and fluid. (the transmission is a rebuilt one from a 1994 or 1995 5.0, with lower miles than the engine has ) New fuel tank grommet (fuel filler tube to fuel tank) Air conditioner charged with refrigerant (very cold) New upgraded odometer gears (known to always fail on these cars) New black carpet New gray floor mats with "GT" embroidered in black. (authentic ford product) Stainless steel scuff plates (rare for this model - these were purchased from a mustang that was sold in japan) Two tone custom leather upholstered seats from a 2001 mustang gt, with "GT" on headrests 4 matching tires - 275/40/17 Falken Ziex ZE502. Rear tires are new, front tires are like new. I chose same size tires instead of staggered so that they can be rotated. Wheels off newer mustang GT MAC performance CARB legal intake with CARB sticker on it (just passed smog test and registered this week). Registered until April 2013. Center console and door panels from 2001 Mustang GT. New Fuel Cap New rear brake pads (front break pads like new also) Alignment done after new tire install. New JVC cd player with adjustable lighting (set to blue to match gauges) Gauge Lights and HVAC control lights changed to blue instead of the stock green. (new led bulbs) New carpeted custom speaker enclosure and floor board in trunk. There is a cutout so the spare tire and jack can be removed easily. Oil filter adapter swapped and new gasket installed (the stock adapter had a cooler, which very commonly fails on these cars and causes the oil and coolant to mix) New oil and filter (mobil 1 synthetic oil) New heater core (required removal of entire dash, and they usually fail on these cars) New trunk shocks New inner door pulls and door handles. 12" subwoofer and 1000w amplifier. The interior is 9.5/10 and exterior probably 7/10 in my opinion (dings/small dents on the doors, hood and front bumper were previously repainted and the bumper repaint is partially chipped off and on the hood there is a place in the front where the paint may begin to chip soon) If I were to keep the car for a longer period of time to drive it I would get the small dents and dings fixed and a good respray of the factory paint and the exterior would be excellent. I was given an estimate of $700 at a local body shop to perform this work. If the car does not sell I will get the body work and paint done and relist if for a starting price equal to 2900 + the actual cost of body work and paint. There is probably more that I haven't listed but the above is what I remember at the moment, also many other parts were swapped with other used ones that I purchased. I have over 3000 in parts receipts alone. If you view my buyer feedback you can see many of the parts were purchased here on ebay. please email me or call me at 310-709-4375 if you want to see the car or have any questions. Please come view the car before bidding, it is sold as is. I can take more detailed photos if requested; I only had my camera phone at the time these photos were taken. Bid with confidence, I have 100% positive feedback including the sales of cars, computers, and other high value items.
