You are looking at my 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera. The car is Guards Red exterior with Black leather interior. Equipped with the 3.2 litre flat six and G50 5-speed gearbox. The combination of G-50 and 3.2 is known in Porsche circles as the one of the most reliable trouble free models. There are some Porsche Carreras out there with over 500,000 miles on them with no rebuild. This car has 122,000 miles, which is low miles for the year. The car runs drives and shifts exactly how it should. I am a fanatic about all my cars and insure all maintenance is completed as scheduled. The acceleration and handling on these cars is unmatched for a road car of its time. The paint on the car is almost perfect with the exception of a few chips near the headlights (Normal on these cars). I would rate the paint at a 9 (1 out of 10 scale). All seals and rubber on the car seal well and body lines are all correct. I attribute the excellent condition of the car to its southern roots. The cars original point of sale in 1987 was in Miami Florida. The car stayed in Florida until fall of 2010 when it was brought up to me. This Porsche has never seen a bad day of weather. I literally check the weather before I drive it to insure I never get caught in the rain. I have looked at this car from top to bottom and cannot find one spot of corrosion or rust. It is always stored indoors. Overall this is a fantastic car and does not require anything to enjoy. I am a PCA (Porsche Club of America) member and have owned several 911’s. The Engine, body, paint and interior are all in excellent shape and the car runs and drives excellent. I have full confidence that this car will sell at the right price and will sell at no reserve.
