2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor up for sale. Car runs GREAT! Has never failed me! Car has always had routine maintenance. Oil and filter has been changed every 3-4k miles. Practically BRAND NEW GOOD YEAR POLICE INTERCEPTOR TIRES (FACTORY) Only about 20% use on tires. Car was never ran hard. Runs nice and strong! V8 4.6! Fast car! I just recently replaced the head light housings - purchased NEW directly through FORD. Brand new Pro Copper console with arm rest is currently in car. I will let the new owner have it if they want it. You can easily change it out to a standard console. Now for the negatives : The instrument cluster (odometer reading) is not working properly. Sometimes it will display the mielage and other times it will go blank. I had it checked at a Ford dealer and they advised me it was just the instrument cluster than needed replaced. IT will cost the new owner around $300 or so if you order through Ford. I planned on keeping the car as it is really a great nice car but due to financial circumstances i'm forced to let let her go. I never did bother with getting the instrument cluster replaced but the mileage light DOES display sometimes. ODOMETER has NOT been tampered with! Also the windshield wiper does not work currently as i pulled the fuse because the wipers kept coming on even when they were turned off. Ford said more than likely it's the windshield wiper motor that needs to be replaced. Windshield wiper motor DOES work but you will have to put a fuse in it but i must warn wipers will come on at random times even when the switch is in the OFF position. So new owner will have to eventually get a new wiper motor. The A/C condenser has failed. I had the car at the Ford dealership and they advised on the inspection that the condensor was about to go out and it did. Not really a big deal since were heading into the Fall/Winter seasons. But however you will want to get this fixed before spring. Air blows strong. Heater works GREAT Just no cold air! Car has NEVER been wrecked. BodY is VERY good on it. Interior is very nice! No damage! I'm the sole primary owner of this vehicle. I purchased this off a guy who only had it a few weeks before i purchased it. He purchased it from a local Police Department. I'm really the 1st Private OWNER of this car -unless you consider the guy whom only had it briefly before selling it to me and the Police Department who sold it to him.
