The four-wheeler has front and rear cargo racks with a rear storage compartment. Engine The 1997 Honda FourTrax 300 is powered by a 282 cubic centimeter, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. Its bore and stroke is 74 mm by 65.5 mm. It uses electronic-advance digital solid-state ignition. The air-cooled, single overhead cam motor has a 32 mm piston-valve carburetor. It features a gear-driven internal counterbalancer and a snorkel-type air intake system. The motor has an electric start or can be kick-started. Chassis The ATV has a steel frame with double-wishbone front suspension and Arvin shocks. The rear suspension is provided by a swingarm and an Arvin mono-shock.
