Honda allowed Isuzu to rebadge a Japanese-market sedan for sale across the Pacific, and had donated the Odyssey minivan to fill a niche in Isuzu's U.S. lineup. The Oasis has a different grille, different wheels, and an Isuzu-embossed steering wheel center hub. The Oasis was actually a better deal than the Odyssey, mainly because Isuzu offered a more comprehensive warranty, and the few options available are priced by the factory, not individual dealers, which reduced the dealer's ability to rip off the consumer. Powered by a strong 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine and featuring four conventional doors, the Oasis scored well in government crash tests and offers side-impact protection that met 1998 passenger car standards. Antilock brakes are standard equipment. The Oasis LS can accommodate up to six passengers. The third row bench seat folds forward, flips backwards for tailgate parties, or folds away into the floor to create a flat load floor. With seats removed and folded, the LS model can hold up to 102.5 cubic feet of cargo. We have aquired one of these rare vehicles and now offer it for sale on “E-Bay” This Isuzu is in very good condition for it’s age & mileage and runs and drives excellent! The only known problems are that the air conditioning does not blow cold and the antilock brake light is on. Everything else functions properly! Buyer agrees to pay the remaining balance due plus applicable fees (tax and tags) within 5 days of auction end. All financial transactions must be complete before delivery of the vehicle. Fees & Taxes New Jersey residents are responsible for paying 7% sales tax at time of transaction. Title & registration fees will apply and fees vary depending on type of vehicle. Out of state residents will pay tax and registration in their home state, and this is not required to be done at the time of transaction.
