Vehicle Detail
Just finished a 1941 Dodge Stake Bed Truck on a S10 Chassis. This is my shop truck and daily driver with only 250 miles.Rebuilt chevy 350 and 700R4 transmission.New water pump, radiator and hoses.New Holley 600cfm.New Dist.New exhaust. New electric fan,new wiring harness.New windshield and rear glass ( door glass is there but cracked) New tires.Truck has Power Steering and Power Brakes. I installed Air Helper Bags to help with towing. Will cruise at 70 mph without a problem! Trailer it or drive it home. I have it for sale as is now. Any more work done to it will only raise the asking price. Log on to www.Killbillet.com and go to the 40's section and search for 1946 Dodge aka '' Cornbread'' to see a complete build thread. ''The truck is a 1941 not a 1946 as I posted.I found this out after more research.'' thx Pat On Aug-15-12 at 16:31:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I added a few more pictures of the truck. The bed floor ( cypress ) ,also the carpet on the cab floor and the gauges. The fuel tank is behind the cab and below the bed, the filler neck is in the bed. The boxes on the side are for storage.( the previous owner had cut the running boards and I had to add extensions. I used the boxes to take away from the apperance of the different material. Works pretty good. I've built a few Street Rods to this point, leaving room for the person who purchases this vehicle to finish it to his liking. Feel free to ask questions. thx Pat On Aug-19-12 at 10:50:09 PDT, seller added the following information: 1 day 20 hrs. to go. I've had a lot of views and a lot of interest in this truck and my share of " Low Ballers " lol. I've dropped my price from $9500.00 to $6500.00 and can't go lower. Looks like it's time to go and enjoy my truck. I'll postpone my future builds until I'm able to sell this one or my Coupe. Anyway thanks to all who viewed my truck and if your looking for a Great Deal...this is it. Pat
