Up for auction is a great looking, great running 1971 Plymouth Duster that now has a 340 with a automatic transmission. The upgrade included a V8 "K" member, and suspension upgrades. The car is RUST FREE, and was painted with the new version of Plum Crazy Purple and she looks great. The car was painted about a year ago. The body lines are very nice, she has a new interior, recent tune up, and runs great. The motor is sealed up with no visible leaks and that is the same for the transmission. The car starts right up and runs at 180 degrees here in the hot desert. This is a Daily Driver type car, and she is ready to be taken anywhere! ENGINE/ TRANS: The car is powered by a 340 that has about 25,000 miles on the motor. The motor was rebuilt by the previous owner. The car has a Edelbrock aluminum intake, and is topped off with a Thermo Quad carb. The car has power steering, and drum brakes. The motor starts right up and idles great. She runs down the road without any issues at all, and is a real pleasure to drive around! The car had a recent tune up and oil change so that is taken care of. The car can sit for a day or a week, No Drips under the car! The transmission is a smooth shifting 727, that is sealed up nice and tight. The rear end is a non sure grip with 3:23 gears. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The car has NEW door panels, arm rests, front/ rear seats, headliner, and a new dash cap. The steering wheel is the original and is not cracked. The windows all roll up and down just fine, and the doors open and close just like they should. The stereo does not work in the car, and needs a new one. The gauges all work just fine, horn works, blinkers work, wipers work, and there is a direct oil pressure gauge too. The carpet is brand new in the car also. The exterior wears a coat of Plum Crazy Purple, with new 340 stripes on her. The car was painted about a year ago and she is a great looking daily driver. The bumpers are good overall for being 41 years old. All of the exterior lights work great, and the car has a set of Cragers SS's with brand new tires on her. There is NO RUST anywhere on the car and the trunk pan looks fantastic! INFO: The car is being sold "AS IS " due to the fact she is 41 years old.
