I am selling my 1962 ford galaxie sunliner which I have owned for approx. 8yrs .Car isn't a show car but is an excellant driver Numbers not matching. I built the car the way I anted Better & Safer than an all original 62 galaxie in my opinion.Vehicle was taken off frame, both frame , underside & inside of vehicle were painted with por 15 then undercoated with dupli color truck bed coating.Note : no patches anywhere in floor of this vehicle.Left side of frame had plate at some time added I didn't do so I left FRAME IS SOLID SPECIALLY X FRAME. Engine is a 390 bored .040 over.Steel crank balanced rotating assy,428 rods polished,Cylinder heads from 1968 390GT. Ported polished stainless valves,Harland sharp roller rockers with matched pushrods,Crane Cam & lifters (will update with lift /duration),Edellbrok performer intake with Holly 650 dual feed jetted.New radiator,waterpump,high volume oil pump,400hp fuel pump,3/8" fuel line from tank to pump,1 wire altenator. Front end all new control arm rods,ball joints, rotors, calipers,hoses,idler,rod ends,steering valve,hoses,sway links & bushings. Power front disc brakes from 1978 T-Bird,all new lines & rear wheel cylinders etc.. Trans 4spd. Big shaft top loader 1 3/8" ( REBUILT) Hays Dual friction clutch, steel flywhee,hurst comp. shifter/linkage, Rear diff. 373 traction loc. (NEW) 28 spline,all new bearings/seals (Comes with Disc brake brakets for rear) Tires are like new. Exhaust True Dual 1 7/8" to 3" welded seams with thrush welded mufflers (similar to flow master) All wheater stripping new except convertible top seals .Interior is mostly all original with exception of having drivers seat insert redone. The paint on vehicle is under 2 yrs. old Basecoat Clear. (PPG) NO RUST OR BUBBLES. I chipped drivers corner of hood having repaired as I type this add. I will provide recipts & photos to purchaser.
