Vehicle Detail

This fully restored early TR6 is in excellent running and driving condition. It has the rare, functional, overdrive transmission. The restoration is about ten years old and included rebuilt engine, suspension and brakes. It has a new convertible top, boot cover, tonneau and redline radial tires. The body was taken down to bare metal and resprayed a 1972 factory Magenta color. The repair receipts exceeding $10,000 are provided. Everything works. This is a well-loved TR6 that needs nothing to drive and enjoy right now. Always garaged. This is not a concourse condition show car so don't come with a magnifying glass and a flashlight expecting perfection but it is a beautiful, fully-sorted sports car that is a lot of fun. If you know the value of these cars, you know anything under $14K is a great price for a complete, rust-free car with overdrive. Most experts agree that TR6 prices are headed upward. This could be a $25,000 car in a couple years.  I'm selling the car to the high bidder because I hate the car selling process and just want to sell it quickly and move on to other opportunities I’m not a dealer. I’m a regular guy who loves cars. I register and pay sales tax on every one so the title is in my name. This car has CA plates with registration that just expired a week ago. The opinion regarding the condition of anything other than a brand new car is subjective. To eliminate any chance of disappointment, you really should see and drive the car before buying. Call me at (650) 430-2010 and let’s make arrangements. If you are not comfortable buying a car sight unseen (perfectly understandable), then arrange for an inspection. Please only bid if you are willing to honor your bid. The winner must Paypal or wire a non-refundable deposit of $500 to my account or hand me cash within 24 hours of the auction ending or your offer being accepted. Then, when you come to pick up the car, if you did not see it before the auction ended and are disappointed in any way, you will not have to pay the balance due. However, by winning the auction, you take the car off the market and all the other bidders turn their attention to other cars. Accordingly, your deposit IS at risk. If you’re serious about buying a car in this price range, I hope you will make the effort to pick up the phone and call Mark at 650-430-2010 to talk about the car. It seems strange to me that anyone would be willing to buy an expensive classic car sight unseen from a stranger without at least talking to him.
