Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1994 Ford F150 4x4 regular cab prickup. I bought this truck used in 1998 and have owned it ever since. At one time, this was my daily driver vehicle. I have since converted it for competition in Tuff-Truck events. The truck has had extensive modifications made to it and IT IS NOT STREET LEGAL. Most of the factory wiring, the interior, the dash, and all un-neccessary items in the engine compartment have been removed to save weight, reduce fire risk, and make the truck safer for race competitions. The truck currently has a 351 windsor engine with a 4 speed manual trans and a mechanical shift transfer case. THE ENGINE IS BAD IN THE TRUCK. There is a bad rod in the #8 cylinder and the block is damaged. However, there are still a lot of good parts on the engine. It has an edelbrock 650CFM carb with mechanical choke that is less than two years old, a pro-comp HEI aftermarket distributor, aftermarket valve covers and air cleaner housing, 8mm plug wires, etc... I have always ran open factory exhaust manifolds and there is NO exhaust on the truck. There are tons of other upgrades to the truck: electric fan, electric fuel pump (mounted on the frame-rail), boat gas tank mounted in the bed, roll cage inside the cab, etc... The front bumper has been removed to increase the "approach angle." The racing stripes and scallop-style flames are a simple rattle-can job. It was touched-up before the last event, but it is FAR from a professional job! The drive train consists of: the 351 windsor, 4 speed manual transmission, floor-shift mechanical transfer case, factory 8.8" rear axle, and a straight-axle out of a 79 f-150 in the front. It has a 1&1/2" add-a leaf in the rear, a 3 inch body lift, and coils out of a 79 ford in the front (a couple inches taller than the stock 94.) The truck has dents, rust, etc...the lights do not work, there is no glass in the truck except the front windshield- and that has cracks in it. the whole interior has been stripped including the headliner, floor, dash, door pannels, etc... Most of the engine compartment has been stripped too. But, this is a great project truck for someone who wants to run in tuff truck events, or it would make a great mud-truck also since most of the extra weight has already been stripped out. I have two spare tires that will go with the truck along with two big plastic totes full of parts: starter, alternator, drive shafts, distributor, misc bolts, etc... THIS VEHICLE DOES NOT RUN AND WILL NEED TO BE TRAILERED. I am selling the truck as-is, where is. I will not deliver it!!! I have access to a payloader and a skid-steer loader and I can help load on any type of trailer including a car trailer or even a flatbed or step-deck semi trailer if needed. The vehicle is located in Ipswich, South Dakota Zip Code 57451. Please email with any additional questions. Thanks for looking. RESERVE PRICE HAS BEEN lowered TO 1,800.00 !!
