2002 Mercedes Benz SL500R

2002 was the last year of this body style !! These SL's are extremely hard to find in this condition. It comes with both tops, hard and convertable. Also included is the original window sticker.

This car cost $85,000. when it was new. This SL belonged to my father, he upgraded to a 2006, so this has to go. The black paint is in great condition, although 13 years old, it is still very shiney and glossy. It does have some minor scratches, but nothing major.

The engine starts perfectly and runs even better. It idles very smoothly, so smooth you barely feel it running. The transmisson shifts effortlessly though all the gears. There are no leaks in the engine or transmission. This car is SOLID !!!

The interior is super nice, no rips, tears, or stains. The black leather seats are very clean and comfortable. The leather has been well cared for and does not have any cracks or tears. There is some very minor bolster wear on the driver seat, as to be expected.

The tires and wheels are great. It comes with a matching set of Continental Contact's, with over half the tread remaining. The 5 spoke factory wheels look awesome !! They do have some very minor curb rash (see pictures).

I am being very picky with the description of this vehicle, probably because it was my dads and he loved it.
