Up for auction is a 1973 VW THING floors were replace with metal,it very solid and a good job. THING was just tuned new plugs, points,condenser,cap, rotor and wires it runs excellent. Tires are like new. It was repainted military green and looks sharp.Body is in great shape some repairs were made in the normal spots. This THING is not junk it looks great ,drives and handles great.People love this THING! What the THING needs is a new top, i have the frame for the top and it in great shape,i also have the side windows which are in good condition. The other item that are needed is a windshield wiper motor and a emergency brake cable. This THING is a fun car it is great on fuel and a ball to drive.
