The listing at NO RESERVE is for a BMW 535i equipped with rare 5 speed manual transmission, black exterior on tan leather interior. I bought the 535i in 2003 when it had 137097miles. The car came from Houston, Texas, hence no rust, and according to its owner manual's record, was dealer maintained up to 80K+ miles. No sign of the car was ever in any accident or body damage. The car has all original VIN stickers on all panels. Within one year from purchase, I have upgraded/fixed the followings otherwise the car is all original: -heavy duty Bilstein shocks all around -stainless steel brake lines -front and back cross drilled disc brake rotors -Bavarian Auto Sport lowering springs (front and back) -Direct air intake -all new exhaust mounting rubbers -new front and rear floor mat -new sheep skin for front driver seat to protect its excellent condition -new radiator -replaced spark plugs -re-painted hood because it was stained by egg-throwing. The rest of body paint retained excellent luster and original OEM paint texture, i.e was not buffed out flat. After all it is a 20-old car, not a new one, so please expect stone chips and light scratches here and there. -removed all dings. Since then I have acquired three new tiny dings hardly detectable within 3 feet. -replaced front windshield with new one because it was cracked when I got it with new seal and moulding. Re-seal rear seal. The car drives great and straight. Gear shift on each gear is excellent not sticky as these cars can get with aging. Stereo system works good. Leather all around is in excellent condition for its age. Interior door cover panels are intact, not detached as often seen on these cars. Surround wood trims are good with one or two strips have hair line crack. Clear coat lamination of wood surrounding gear shift has a small chipped area but wood is intact. All seat powers work (the last time I touch the powered head rest, it works smoothly up and down and so I left it alone since). The car is equipped with an ALPINE alarm system. I have the control key and the alarm did response to the keys but I have never attempted to thoroughly test it and see if it's still fully functional. Tires are 40% left. Because I have not driven the car much during 2011, the following problems have developped: -oil pan leaks hence oil pan will need new gasket. -air conditioning works but will need re-charge Other bads are: -dash panel has a couple of star cracks, typical of these cars. I bought a matched dash board in perfect condition and will list it separately or can negotiate with bid winner. -rear head lining has a 6 inch detach when I got the car, typical of these BMW cars when they age. It has not got worse. -It was hard to remember that the car was lowered so I bumped the front lower bumper to a parking concrete block and knocked the fog light out. I bought an OEM bumper plus Bavarian Autosport air dam as I have seen it makes the car looks awesome on another car. They are included with car for the new owner. I also have an after market rear M5 style deck spoiler and rear windshield louver to complete the look. I will list the deck spoiler and louver on a separate listing or can negotiate with bid winner. I have acquired a new hobby in restoring Honda vintage motorcycles and don't have time for the car so it 's time for the car to have a new owner who can drive it more and enjoy one of the best BMW sedan that is easy to DIY.
