I have a DATSUN FAIRLADY 1600, 2 door convertible up for sale. My husband purchased this vehicle in 2010. At that time it was sitting in our garage, stripped down for a new coat of paint. The owner's son at that time wanted to put a new paint job on, so he stripped off all the paint and then just left it. His mother came out and told my husband she just wanted to sell it (it was her vehicle). My husband bought it from her and then before he could get anything done to it he passed away. So I got a man to do the body repairs to it, paint it and put it back together. The paint is a nice baby blue with a red pearl over the blue. very pretty. I had a new windshield installed, bought a new convertible top, and had it installed. The top will not close because we did not notice before installing the windshield that where the top attaches to the middle, over the rearview mirror, that piece was bent. I had the carburators worked on and ran it a couple times then put it into the garage for the winter. I am selling my property and moved and am selling the car because I really can't drive it very good. I am 60t years old and on oxygen. It needs some more work done to it. It has no rear seat, no mirrors, no sunvisors, and a couple other things, the gasket around the gas tank, is gone and it had no front bumper so we put on some T-Bars. The thing that goes around the gear shift is missing so you get the exhaust fumes inside. Interior is not to bad, can be recovered easy. I did have an upholster put some black naugahyde around where the backseat would be so you can't see into the trunk there. I don't know if the interior is original but has the Datsun floor mats. When I drove it, it was really a good experience, the last owners had it for a while and only brought it out in the summer. This car could be an easy fix for a good repairman.
