This was the first year for the 3.2 liter with pressure fed chain tensioners and Motronic fuel injection. The 3.2 liter engines are renowned for their longevity. This stock engine has 127,000 miles on it and they are known to go for upwards of 250,000. The engine runs strong all the way to red line. It uses less than the specified liter/1000 miles of oil and doesn’t smoke. There are no major oil leaks. I can put the car on the hydraulic lift in my garage and show you the underside of the car. The car is all original with unique "paint color to sample" sapphire exterior and blue interior. The seats and steering wheel need to be re-covered and the dash has a few cracks. The factory original 16” Fuchs wheels are in very good condition with only minor dings. Pirelli P-zero tires. Fronts have some life left but the rears are approaching the wear bars. Other features include: power windows, power outside mirrors, electric sun roof, AC (functional but notoriously ineffective), factory alarm, cruise control. Upgrades include: brand new Bilstein sport shocks front and rear, torsion bars upgraded to 22 mm front, 28 mm rear, Weltmeister adjustable sway bars front and rear, new Automotion reinforced rear sway bar mounts, turbo tie rods, Elephant Racing 3-point front strut brace, short shift kit. Recent maintenance includes: ball joints, fuel pump, brake rotors and pads, braided stainless steel brake lines. I have lots of receipts.
