Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1991 BMW 325i Coupe Final year for the e30 coupe! This auction is for a 1991 BMW 325i coupe. I have used this car as my daily commuter for the past year without any issues. The reason why I am selling it is because I prefer a manual transmission and just acquired a 325is with a 5-speed. It is sterling silver with a black and gray interior; it has a 2.5 liter 6-cylinder engine with automatic transmission with just under 168k miles showing on the odometer. Features include power windows, power locks, power moonroof, air conditioning, cruise control, leather comfort seats, trunk lid spoiler, and a Sony aftermarket CD head unit. Here are the good points… · Starts, runs, and drives very well and has not exhibited any mechanical issues while I have driven it · PA inspected through May 2013 · New parts installed less than 1000 miles ago: o Tires o Front brake rotors o Front wheel bearings/hubs o Front and rear brake pads o Brake pad sensors o Front grilles (both sides and center grille) o Fog lights o IS front valence lower air dam · Timing belt and tensioner were replaced in October of 2010 at 156,633 miles, so they are good for quite a while longer · Guibo and center bearing were replaced in August of 2009 · Overall a very solid body with only a few dents and next to no rust…the car still looks great from 30 feet away! · Interior is clean with a crack free dash · Has a nice clean set of 14” bottlecap wheels (previous owner stated they were NOS a few years ago) · Includes original window sticker (see photo) and bill of sale for over $28k · Includes repair and maintenance documentation from previous owners showing thousands of dollars of repairs and upkeep over the years · All of the gauges work and there are no diagnostic faults showing on the dash display at the moment · Power windows and moonroof work Here are the things I know that need attention… · There is a slight exhaust leak as well as a rattle at the converter that comes and goes…has been this way since I got it · The air conditioner does not blow cold…the previous owner stated it worked fine 2 summers ago, but it has not worked since I bought it. I did not ever check it or try to recharge it, but the system is intact. · The car has been repainted and some of the panels (most prominently the driver’s side door and front fender) are showing age and need repainted to look better…thankfully, since the car is silver, the car still presents well from 30 feet away. · The driver’s door lock does not unlock the car…I use the trunk lock with the key to lock and unlock the car · The power mirrors do not work…have not ever had to move them · The power antenna does not go completely down when turned off Concluding Thoughts… This is a solid final-year e30 coupe in good running condition and ready to go. It is a dependable commuter car but could certainly be improved to be a restored classic e30. In sterling silver, it is still a sharp looking car. I put close to a thousand dollars into it over the past year for the new parts mentioned previously. I listed the obvious things that come to mind, but please consider that this is a 20 year old car with normal to-be-expected wear and tear. It still looks good from 30 feet away and it does start, run, and drive just fine, but it is not perfect. I am not intentionally hiding anything, but I may have missed something here or there, so be realistic in your expectations… if there is something specific you want to know about, please ask ahead of bidding. I have set my reserve at what I believe to be a fair price for a 1991 e30 coupe in this condition, and I will not be revealing that reserve at this time. Please bid to what you feel it is worth to you and hopefully we both end up with a good deal. Terms of sale · The car is being sold as-is, where-is and the sale is final, so please ask questions prior to auction end · $500 down payment via PayPal required within 48 hours of auction close · Remaining balance due within 14 days via PayPal or cash in person · I can hold the car for up to 4 weeks if needed The buyer is responsible for all transportation/hauling/shipping arrangements
