Vehicle Detail
1973 FORD GRAN TORINO SPORT Up for auction is my beautiful 1973 Gran Torino. Comes with new custom offset magnum five hundreds and wheel holes full of BF Goodrich rubber - fresh this past spring. I purchased the car last fall through Mainly Muscle of Washington State and it sat in a heated garage all winter. Has Q-code VIN but previous owner to Mainly put a 429 in the car. Has the sound of old forgings, and clacks to a purr from a cold start. The intake looks new-old stock and everything in the motor house as well as throughout the car shows excellent care. The story is of an old man who owned and tended to this car meticulously. There is a thorough color change from the inside of the trunk through the door jams and floors into the motor house and firewall. All the bolts and hinge parts show solid paint or excellent cad. It is, quite frankly, an amazing car.THe car runs out excellent holds gears underload extremely well and feels like a time capsule. The interior seems to have been left alone. The pedals show little wear and the rug appears to be original with signs of light wear. There is a crack in the driver armrest and small dimesize hole in driver side of bench seat. The dashpad and headliner are in excellent condition. The rear seat is perfect. It comes with gage pack, all gages funtioning. A decent old school radio-cassette player had been installed in original hole patter - no cutting has been done to the car. THe rear deck has coaxial speaks in the old original cutout holes.Underneath, from bumper to bumper, this car appears to have been garaged from day one. The chrome is in excellent condition, and definitily original to the car. There are no signs of patch on this Gran Torino that I have found. The car is sold as is, no implied warranty. It runs very well the brakes are fine and the car handles great. The blemishes on the car are the way I received it.. During the shipping the people responsible for the car bumped the header panel as pictured and tied the chassis rather the axles to the car and the car carrier cut the tire with the wheel whell as shown in pic.. The car is beautiful and the paint stands out. Good luck bidding please feel free to ask any questions.
