WALKAROUND VIDEO CAN BE SEEN HERE: HERE!!! 1954 Ford Victoria 2 Dr. Hardtop convertible born in Dallas, TX., raised in New Mexico where it lived until the late 80's when it was driven from NM. to the east coast and sold. I purchased the"running-driving" car in 1996 and used it as an everyday driver for the first 3 yrs. until it finally developed 2 small quarter sized rust spots on front fenders behind wheel wells. Being an expert metal smith and having a restoration and modification shop for early Fords, I repaired the small and ONLY rust this car had ever known. That's when the transformation to mild 50's style custom took place. Frenched headlights using 52' trim rings, Frenched tail lights, Frenched antenna (w/drain hole) and a "nose & deck" job began. Also removal of the "bumperettes" and a complete molding & smoothing of the front end completed with the addition of a 57' Buick grille to finish things off. The car still has the STOCK driveline in GREAT shape. Factory options include Ford script tinted glass and "OVERDRIVE TRANS." in perfect operating condition. Car has oversize wide whitewalls on 15" rims and "STOCK" skirts. Still has 6 volt system w/added electric fuel pump w/ pressure regulator. Recent rebuilt stock carb. Interior stock. Still has original headliner. Factory operating clock and radio delete w/ "engine turned" block-off plate to fill dash hole. Car was stripped to bare metal and refinished P.P.G. "CUSTARD" which approximates "WIMBLETON WHITE" which was used extensively by Ford on many late 50's cars and into the 60's. Has been garaged until 2 yrs. ago. Under cover now. Has distributor problem (original unit may have given up the ghost) and passenger side wheel cylinder has failed due to sitting unused. The bottom of passenger side "B" pillar developed small rust area which has been cut out.(needs patch) and interior door panels and back seat have been removed and VERY HEAVY COATING of POR 15 applied inside DOORS and INSIDE ENTIRE ROCKERS BOTH SIDES! UNDERSIDE OF CAR IS RUST FREE!!!! NO DENTS!! Recent repaint. NICE CAR. Recent events forcing sale of this fine ol' HENRY. Video of undercarriage and walkthrough showing running car and overall condition of undercarriage and under hood can be seen HERE!!! . Original 1st yr, 239 V-8 engine "Y" block. This automobile is for all of you artisans and enthusiasts that are willing to undertake a project that I initially started, that I would like finished in a classic style of the authentic craftsmen of the past. I am looking to sell this outright and am not interested in any trades at the moment! Feel free to ask any questions! Thanks for looking. Good luck bidders!!! Cheers, ---Poppy---
